Pune: Two young trainees of MSEDCL suffered burn injuries due to electric shock

Two young Mahavitaran trainees were electrocuted near Talera warehouse in Wagholi around noon on Tuesday. The Lonikand police reported that their injuries were not severe. The individuals involved are Arif Khayyum Sheikh, 21 years old, from Beed, and Aniket Angan Sawant, also 21 years old, from Cage, Beed. They were both working as trainees. While attempting to change a transformer switch near the Talera godown on Tuesday, they both suffered electric shocks.
Following the incident, they were both taken to the hospital. Ravindra Khandve informed the police about the situation. Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad of Lonikand Police Station mentioned that their condition is stable.
