Pune, February 20, 2026: A silent yet powerful protest will be held on 21st February at 10:15 a.m. near Mayuri Weigh Bridge, close to Tata Inora Park, Undri bringing together parents, guardians, and concerned citizens to demand immediate action for children’s safety.

The road leading to the school as well as Tata Inora Park has suffered severe and continuous damage due to the daily movement of heavy-load trucks from a nearby RMC plant. Despite repeated meetings with the plant owner and multiple repair attempts, the condition of the road has not improved. Instead, it has deteriorated further, creating serious safety hazards for school-going children, parents, teachers, and transport staff.

Large potholes, uneven surfaces, dust pollution, and constant truck traffic have turned what should be a safe school approach road into a high-risk zone. Parents fear that it is only a matter of time before a major accident occurs if urgent steps are not taken.

This silent protest is not an act of confrontation—it is a collective call for responsibility and accountability. It represents a united voice demanding permanent solutions, strict regulation of heavy vehicle movement, and immediate infrastructure repair by the concerned authorities.

The protest symbolizes unity, discipline, and determination, showing that parents are standing together for one cause: the safety, dignity, and well-being of their children.

Every parent’s presence matters. Every voice adds strength. Together, this peaceful protest aims to send a clear message — children’s safety cannot be compromised for industrial convenience.
