Pune: Vedanta Society's Plantation Drive Unites Community For A Greener Future
Pune, June 24, 2025 – The recent Plantation Drive organized by the Vedanta Society on 22nd June Sunday turned out to be a heartening and inspiring event, made successful by the enthusiastic participation of our vibrant community.”Residents from all age groups came together with a shared purpose — to contribute to a greener tomorrow. The atmosphere was filled with joy, collaboration, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the environment.
A special shout-out goes to our amazing young green warriors! The children of Vedanta Society brought a unique energy to the event. Their excitement while planting saplings and their eager questions about nature were a beautiful reminder of the importance of nurturing environmental values from a young age, said S B Dhonde, chairman, Vedanta Society, Wakad.
Through this hands-on experience, our kids learned the significance of trees, plants, and caring for nature — lessons that will grow with them just like the saplings they planted.
