Pune : Vehicle catches fire on NDA Road; No casualties reported
A shocking incident took place when a car caught fire in Shivane on NDA Road. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, a vehicle commuter on NDA Road, said “The fire incident took place at around 2 pm on 14th January (Sunday) on NDA Road at Dudhanewasti in Shivane. I was travelling on that patch of NDA Road when I saw the electric SUV car catching fire.
There were 2 youths in the car who had fortunately got out of the car before the fire was lit. I helped those youths to douse the fire but it had become very intense so we couldn’t douse it. Hence, the youths immediately called the fire brigade who reached the spot immediately.”
As per further information, the fire has been doused by the fire brigade officers. The exact cause of the fire lit is unknown. The traffic flow on the incident spot on NDA Road has been cleared.
Both the youths in the car are safe with no injuries.
