Pune : Vishweshwar Bank aims for Rs 5,000 Cr business

Pune, Aug 24 : The Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank Limited announced on Wednesday that its business for the financial year 2022-23 has touched Rs 3,000 crore and it is now aiming to scale it to Rs 5,000 crore in near future.


An announcement to this effect was made at the 52nd annual general body meeting held here.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gadve, chairman of the Bank, said, “Bank’s business has touched Rs 3,000 crore and now we are aiming to take it to Rs 5,000 crore in near future.”

“As compared to last year, we are aiming to do better in the current financial year in terms of loan recovery and increasing the overall business of the bank. We will surely achieve it due to continued support from our members and customers. Very soon, we shall open new branches at Ichalkaranji and Latur, taking the total number of branches to 30,” he added.

The Bank has announced a 10 per cent dividend for its members for the year 2022-23. The official social media handles of the bank on Instagram and facebook were also unveiled on the occasion.
