Pune: Volunteers Conduct Cleanup Drive at Tikona Fort Under 'Shivdurga Conservation Campaign'
Pune, January 22: Under the ‘Shivdurga Conservation Campaign,’ volunteers from Suyog Mitra Mandal and Vishal Mitra Mandal from the Gokhalenagar area conducted a cleanup drive at Tikona Fort. The activities included cleaning water tanks, arranging soil and stones, and clearing the fort’s bastions and staircases.
For the first time, a solar-powered CCTV camera has been installed on a trial basis at the fort for enhanced security, informed Mukesh Pawar, the president of the Shivdurga Conservation Organization.
The initiative was organized under the guidance of Mukesh Pawar, with coordination by Rajesh Nelge, Sachin Dagade, Niranjan Bahirat, Akash Marne, Ashish Mane, Mahendra Pawar, and Avinash Deshmukh.
