Pune: Wanowrie Community Christmas Programme Unites 10 Housing Societies in Celebration of Harmony
Pune, December 18, 2025: A warm and vibrant Community Christmas Programme was organised by the G-Area St. Paul’s Community at Wanowrie, near the open space opposite Silver Valley Society, bringing together residents from 10 cooperative housing societies in a spirit of joy, unity, and inclusiveness.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from people of all faiths, reflecting the true essence of Christmas—love, togetherness, and sharing. The evening began with soulful Christmas carols that created a festive and devotional atmosphere across the venue.
A thoughtfully presented skit became the highlight of the programme, conveying a strong social message. It depicted attempts to create discord and divert a family from the true meaning of Christmas, ultimately showing how goodness, faith, and support from families of different religions triumph over negativity. The performance served as a powerful reminder of unity, peace, and mutual respect.
Children were delighted by the lively arrival of Santa Claus, who danced, sang, and distributed gifts and sweets. This was followed by a graceful dance performance by community women, set to a song emphasising humility and compassion.
The programme was graced by Rev. Fr. Arun Tribhuvan, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Office bearers from neighbouring societies and NCP leader Kevin Manuel were also present and appreciated the inclusive celebration. The evening concluded with refreshments and fellowship, reinforcing the message of unity in diversity.
