Pune Water Crisis: Pramod Bhangire Demands Urgent Steps To Fix Ward 41 Water Issues
Pune, March 11, 2026: Shiv Sena Pune City Chief and former corporator Pramod (Nana) Bhangire has urged the authorities of the Pune Municipal Corporation to take immediate steps to address the ongoing drinking water issues in Ward No. 41 and nearby areas of the city.
In a formal communication, Bhangire highlighted the severe difficulties faced by residents due to irregular and inadequate water supply. He requested the civic administration to urgently implement several measures to ensure reliable access to drinking water.
Among the key demands raised were the immediate restoration of regular and adequate water supply to all drinking water storage tanks in Ward 41 and surrounding localities. He also called for a technical inspection of the water supply system in areas where water pressure is extremely low or where supply has completely stopped, followed by necessary repairs.

Bhangire further urged the civic body to publish a clear and consistent water supply schedule so that residents can receive water at fixed and predictable timings. For areas facing acute water shortages, he recommended temporary arrangements for regular water supply through tanker services.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of regular maintenance, cleaning, and efficient management of drinking water tanks to ensure that residents receive safe and clean water.
He requested the municipal administration to take swift and positive action on these demands and implement immediate solutions to resolve the serious drinking water problems affecting residents of Ward 41 and nearby areas.
Bhangire emphasized that timely intervention by the civic authorities is essential to prevent further hardship for citizens struggling with water scarcity.
