Maintenance Activities at Vadgaon and Rajiv Gandhi Pumping Stations to Impact Water Supply

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, several areas in Pune will experience a temporary water supply interruption due to critical maintenance and repair work at the Vadgaon treatment plant and Rajiv Gandhi pumping station. Additionally, a culvert project at Shivshankar Chowk, Dhankawadi, necessitates the relocation of a 796 mm diameter pipeline, further impacting the water distribution system.

The planned maintenance activities require the shutdown of the pumping systems at these locations, affecting the water supply in their respective service areas. Residents should be prepared for a complete suspension of water services on May 30.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, water supply is expected to resume but may be delayed and could have reduced pressure. Citizens are advised to plan accordingly and conserve water.
