Mumbai-Pune Expressway "Missing Link" Project Nears Completion Despite Challenges, Deadline Postponed To March 2025

Pune, May 27: On the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will conduct technical inspections, installation and repairs of gantries under the Highway Traffic Management System on May 28, 2024 at km 1.550 on the Pune route. All vehicle owners on the Pune Mumbai route are advised to use alternative routes.

On May 28, 2024  from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM, traffic on the Pune Mumbai route will be completely halted. During this period, all vehicles on the expressway will be diverted towards Pune via National Highway 48 through Shedung and Khopoli. Additionally, on May 23, from 12 Noon to 1 PM, traffic will be entirely stopped, and all vehicles on the expressway will be redirected towards Pune via National Highway 48.

Alternate Route:

On Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai Pune expressway, the light vehicles will be diverted through Pune route via Kalamboli 00.000 from left side to Kalamboli circle Mumbai Pune on National Highway 48.

On Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai Pune expressway, the light vehicles to Pune will ply via Kalamboli 00.000 from left side to Kalamboli circle to Mumbai Pune on National Highway 48 via Kalamboli circle to D point – Karanjade – Palaspe and ahead to Mumbai Pune National Highway 48

On Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai Pune expressway, the light vehicles to Pune will be diverted to Kone bridge via KM 09.800 on Yashwantrao Chavan National Highway to Pune

On Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai Pune expressway, the light vehicles will be diverted through Pune route via Shingroba Ghat to Magic Point KM 42.000 to Mumbai Pune expressway
