Pune : Woman Assaulted in Karvenagar; Accused Booked by Alankar Police

Alankar Police took action on Thursday, March 14th, by booking a suspect for assaulting a woman in the Karvenagar area of Pune.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Akash Shinde, was involved in a romantic relationship with both the complainant and her friend simultaneously. When confronted by the complainant about his infidelity, Shinde resorted to violence, leading to physical harm.

The complainant, a resident of Karvenagar, had been romantically involved with Akash. However, upon discovering his simultaneous relationship with her friend, she confronted him. In response, Shinde physically assaulted her.

During the altercation, the complainant sustained an injury near her eyebrow due to a ring worn by Shinde. Following the incident, she reported the assault to the authorities, leading to the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against Shinde.

Alankar Police have charged Akash Shinde under Sections 324, 506 (2), 323, and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The investigation into the case is ongoing.
