Pune : Yerawada Police Nab Burglar Attempting to Run Away with Stolen Gold & Money From House
Pune: Court Denies Anticipatory Bail for Builder and Manager in Fake Document Case

Pune: The Yerawada police successfully caught and arrested a thief who tried to run away with gold which he stole from a flat in Akshay Apartment in Yerawada on Friday.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Balkrushna Kadam, Police Inspector, Yerawada Police Station said, “On the night of June 22 at around 1 to 1:30 am, a thief broke into the house of Naresh Chaudhary, resident of Akshay Apartment, Chitra Chowk by breaking the lock. The thief managed to steal ten tolas (around 117 grams) of gold and cash worth Rs 3 lakhs 56 thousand. Chaudhary immediately filed a complaint in Yerwada police station after which we registered a case against the thief.”
As per further information, along with gold & money, the thief also stole other valuables like mobile phones & jewellery.
The Yerawada police caught the burglar on Friday night. They have registered a case under sections 380 & 454 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation regarding the thief’s identity, motive of theft etc is going on after which the case hearing at Pune District and Sessions Court will begin.
