In their continuous efforts to enhance passenger travel experience, the Pune Railway Division has taken a step forward by offering free access to clean drinking water. With the scorching heat prevailing this year, the division aims to provide convenience, particularly to passengers traveling in general class coaches, at Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, and Miraj stations.

Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Mrs. Indu Dubey, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh, and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirve, the railway department has coordinated efforts to implement this complimentary and purified water system. Satara and Miraj stations have successfully implemented this facility, while at Pune station, former corporator Mr. Rajabhau Laigude, social activist Mr. Yashwant Laigude, along with the support of Kolhapur Rajasthani Mahila Mandal, have contributed selflessly to provide the drinking water facility.

Passengers are urged to take full advantage of this initiative, ensuring a refreshing and comfortable journey.
