Rajmata Jijau Garden near Pimple Saudagar gets a makeover

Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Limited has been developing several public amenities within the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. These projects have been executed as soon as Pimpri Chinchwad got selected in Smart City Mission Scheme. Various development works have been started and these projects are instrumental for the development of world class infrastructure in the city.

Under Area Based Development Project, various development works are being carried out in Pimple Gurav and Pimple Saudagar. Youth and senior citizens visiting Rajmata Jijau Garden are definitely happy seeing the makeovers being conducted at various projects. The dinosaur statues in this garden are famous. Spacious parking area in front of the garden is being transformed through PCSCL.

Gazebos, benches, food plazas, spacious parking for four-wheelers and two-wheelers, solar trees, charging stations for electric vehicles, attractive landscaping, toilets are being developed under this project. Attractive electricity poles have also been installed for lighting. Also, stone cladding work is completed on the protective wall of the park.

Rajmata Jijau Garden is surrounded by footpaths, cycle tracks and ample lighting. The natural surroundings which is being maintained by trees adds beauty to the area.
