Two decades after it first ignited conversations around patriotism and youth activism, Rang De Basanti brought back a wave of nostalgia as its lead cast reunited for a special 20-year anniversary screening in Mumbai on Friday. The memorable evening saw the presence of several original cast and crew members, making it a heartfelt celebration for fans and the film fraternity alike.

The reunion was attended by Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, Soha Ali Khan and filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, among others. Their appearance together after so many years instantly transported everyone back to the era when the film first left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Adding warmth to the occasion was the coordinated fashion choice by the team. Aamir Khan made a subtle yet striking style statement by arriving in a custom hoodie emblazoned with the words “Rang De Basanti,” paired with black trousers and brown shoes. The rest of the lead cast followed the same dress theme, symbolising unity and shared memories from a film that defined a generation.
