Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Amrit Udyan to Open for Public from Feb 3 to Mar 31, 2026
New Delhi: The iconic Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open to the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026, the President’s Secretariat announced on Wednesday. The annual opening allows visitors from across the country to explore the historic gardens known for their diverse flowers, landscaping, and Mughal architectural influence.
Visitors will be allowed entry six days a week between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 pm. The garden will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 4 due to Holi celebrations.
Access to Amrit Udyan will be free of cost. Visitors can book entry slots online, while walk-in visitors can complete registrations at self-service kiosks placed near the entry point.
Entry and exit for all visitors will be through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, located near the North Avenue side of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
For added convenience, a shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm from the Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35. The buses will display banners reading “Shuttle Service for Amrit Udyan” for easy identification.
The annual opening of Amrit Udyan draws thousands of tourists, garden enthusiasts, and photographers each year, making it one of Delhi’s most anticipated seasonal attractions.
