Ravet: Lights Went Out While Ironing, Mom Left for School Drop-Off; What Happened Next Will Surprise You…
In a tragic incident in Ravet, a house caught fire after a woman accidentally left the iron on while rushing to drop her child at school. The fire broke out after a brief power outage in the area. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 25, around 10 AM in Bhondwe Bagh, Ravet.
According to reports, the woman was ironing clothes at home when the power suddenly went out. As it was time to take her child to school, she hurriedly left the house, forgetting to switch off the iron. After dropping her child at school, she returned to find her house engulfed in flames.
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Fire Department’s Pradhikaran Substation was notified of the fire around 10 AM. Fire officials, including Gautam Ingavale, chief fireman Sampat Gaund, Sanjay Mahadik, fireman Anil Mane, driver Rajesh Sakhle, trainee fireman Gaurav Suravase, Shivaji Pawar, and Rakesh Mahamulkar, responded to the emergency.
Upon inspection, they found that the fire had destroyed all items in the bedroom. Investigations revealed that the iron, left on during the power outage, likely caused the fire once the electricity was restored. The woman had also left her mobile phone charging in the bedroom, which may have contributed to the spread of the fire.
The fire consumed several items, including the bed, mattress, pillows, blankets, iron, mobile phone, electrical wiring, board, and ceiling fan.
