Real Indian Armed Forces Wives (RIAW) Leads Tree Plantation Drive at Anandvan with 51 Saplings Planted

Pune: On a bright and sunny Sunday morning, the Real Indian Armed Forces Wives (RIAW) community spearheaded a meaningful Tree Plantation Drive at Anandvan 6, Pune, planting 51 saplings in a dedicated effort toward environmental conservation and community engagement.
The event was graced by Mrs. Sanjana Jog, Mrs. Deepali Das, Mrs. Anupama Pradhan, and Mrs. Mehzabin Saiyed, along with several enthusiastic members of RIAW, serving and veteran defence officers, and their children. The morning was marked by camaraderie, commitment, and a shared vision of a greener, more sustainable future.
The initiative received generous support from the Anandvan Foundation. Founder Mr. Praveen Kumar Anand, along with core members Mr. Manish Ghule and Treasurer Mr. Ramesh, were present on the occasion and lauded RIAW’s proactive efforts in aligning with Anandvan’s mission to protect and expand Pune’s urban green cover.

This plantation drive is a heartfelt expression of RIAW’s enduring values—extending the legacy of the armed forces community beyond uniforms and into meaningful social and environmental action. Each tree planted stands as a symbol of service, growth, and hope for generations to come.
