Renault car catches fire on Pune Bengaluru Highway on Dari pul 

A Renault car caught fire today evening at 7.49 PM today on the Pune Bengaluru Highway near Dari pul. The driver of the car noticed smoke coming out from the front side of the car and immediately evacuated from the vehicle. 

He alerted the fire department who extinguished the fire within five minutes.  The fire personnel from Sinhagad fire station contained the fire. By the time the fire personnel reached the spot the car was engulfed in fire completely.  

The fire personnel checked whether there was any passenger stuck inside the car before the fire was contained. The car driver hailing from Kolhapur was driving from Pune city to Kolhapur when the incident took place. 

 The fire was contained by fire department personnel driver Vijay Sakhare, Tandel Santosh Bhilare and Jawan Tushar Kare and Amar Aatole. 

There were no injuries reported in the accident.
