Residents of Kothrud to be provided with piped natural gas : informs Chandrakant Patil 

Pune, Nov 6 : Residents of societies in Baner West, Sus – Mhalunge and Pashan areas of Kothrud assembly constituency would soon be provided with piped natural gas, said Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Chandrakantada Patil here on Sunday.

For this purpose, the Mahanagar Natural Gas company has been allotted a municipal plot at Baner to implement the DRS system, he said and informed that following this, the piped natural gas has been made available to 5,000 residents of Baner.

Talking about the Metro rail project, he said that the network is being expanded to solve the problem of traffic congestion in the city.

The Metro in the airport area will become operational in December, he added.
