Residents take up cleaning of road near Konark Pooram
Aggrieved citizens of Kondhwa (mainly from Konark Pooram, Mayurpankh Katke building, Welcome Hall area, Pargenagar) took the matter in their own hands to clean up the stretch between Sheetal petrol pump to Welcome Hall which had become a dumping ground for the past many years due to negligence of the civic authorities and ack of disposal system.
The drive was led by Sameer Shafi Pathan Youth Icon and Nagrik Adhikar Manch supported by PMC and Adar Poonawala Clean Cities, Prajakta Pethkar, Nikhil Rokade and residents of all the adjoining societies who participated and cleaned up the area urging the PMC as well as citizens to maintain cleanliness and healthy atmosphere in the area.
