Road stretch from Jyoti Chowk to Ujjwal Park and New Dawn school to be widened soon

Deputy chief minister of Maharashtra and guardian minister for Pune district Ajit Pawar on Friday January 29, 2021 in a meeting held in new circuit House announced that Pune Municipal Corporation should acquire the land at Kondhwa Khurd survey number 5 for road widening upto 36 meters and 24 meters and carry out further development on the road such as road widening. He also informed that reservation for D P road near Kumar Pruthvi to Shivneri Nagar, sports ground reservation and Haj House construction development should speed up. 
A joint meeting with the Hadapsar Constituency MLA Chetan Tupe, District collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, PMRDA Dr Suhas Divase, PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar was held on various other issues from Pune.

Local Prabhag 26 Corporator Nanda Lonkar said, “This was much needed development for the area. This will help in reducing traffic congestion at Jyoti hotel chowk. This road widening shall be done from Jyoti Chowk to Ujjwal park and further ahead till Bakers Point and from Jyoti Chowk to New Dawn school in Kondhwa.”
