Roommate Attacked with Knife over a verbal abuse dispute in Pune
In a shocking incident in Pune’s Narhe area, a man attacked his roommate with a knife over a verbal abuse dispute. The Sinhagad Road police have registered a case in the matter.
As per the FIR, complainant Sachin has been living with Mahesh Pawar and Arjun Roy Riyang since October 2024. Arjun and Sachin work in housekeeping at a hostel, while Mahesh is a security guard at the same location.
There had been frequent fights between Mahesh and Arjun. Mahesh was angry with Arjun for repeatedly abusing him.
On the night of April 4, around 10:45 pm, while Sachin was in the room, a fresh argument broke out between Mahesh and Arjun over foul language.
The fight escalated, and Mahesh brought a knife from the kitchen and attacked Arjun. Arjun collapsed after the assault. Police have registered an attempt to murder case.
