Rtn Narendra Pal Singh Bakshi Installed as 88th President of Rotray Club of Poona
7th Rotary Club of India, “Rotary Club of Poona “ installed Rtn Narendra Pal Singh Bakshi as their 88th President, along with his Board of Directors on 3rd July 2023 at official meeting at Poona Club, Pune.
Rotary Club of Poona is first club of district and was chartered on 10th June 1936 by Rotary Club Of Bombay. RC Poona was part of District 89, which covered Afganistan, India, Burma and Ceylon.
Past DIstrict Governor Dr Shailesh Palekar was Guest of Honour and the ceremony well attended by Galaxy of Past District Governors from District 3131, PDG’s from neighbouring districts,,Past Presidents, COPS mates of district, members of RC Poona with R/ Ann’s , family and friends. Lion PDG Thaku Chughtai also joined hand RC Poona for “Gift Eye to Blind Project.
President NPS Bakshi is Financial Consultant by profession and eminent Social Worker involved in social services with several Hospitals, Schools and old age homes. Rtn Bakshi is involved in Sewa with Guru Nanak Medical Foundation, Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp Pune and The Poona Camp Sikh association, for past decades.
