Sachin promptly exposed the video as fake and urged people to be cautious, stating, “It is very disturbing to see such widespread misuse of technology. Request everyone to report this video ad and app in large numbers.” He emphasized the need for social media platforms to be vigilant and take strict action against such deepfake videos to curb misinformation.
Previously, Sara Tendulkar had also addressed issues with posts from her parody accounts, urging fans not to assume those opinions as hers.
The incident highlights the rapid misuse of advanced technology, affecting public figures from Rashmika Mandana to Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, the deepfake video has been affected.
