Salisbury Park Residents Forum clean Bakers hill

Over 61 local residents from Salisbury Park came together to clean up Bakers Hill side in Salisbury Park which is found littered.
The residents collected over 1 tonne of garbage from the hill. The members requested the Adar Poonawala Clean City Initiative team to pick up the waste which was collected by the residents of the area.

G Bhaskar, Secretary, Salisbury Park Residents Forum told Pune Pulse that for a very long period we, the residents of Salisbury Park were thinking of cleaning up the hills which is often littered. Almost 61 citizens, young and old participated in the clean up drive.

We were helped by the Adar Poonawala Clean City Initiative staff who took up the waste which we had cleaned up. They have always been helpful in all our Initiatives. “

The members of Salisbury Park Residents Forum had organised a E and Plastic Waste collection drive in the Poonawala garden which saw great response. SWaCH helped us in holding this Initiative.
