A few years ago at the Star Screen Awards, Salman Khan stunned everyone, including Shah Rukh Khan, when he jokingly claimed to be secretly married. Known for his bachelor status and numerous past relationships, Salman had fans eagerly awaiting news of his marriage for years.
During the event, Shah Rukh Khan asked Salman about his marriage plans. To everyone’s surprise, Salman replied, “The secret is that I’m already married.” This left Shah Rukh and the audience, including stars like Alia Bhatt and Rekha, in disbelief. Shah Rukh, confused, asked for more details, to which Salman humorously added, “I’ve kept this a secret from the world, but now it’s out in the open.”
When Shah Rukh pressed for more details about the supposed marriage, Salman kept the joke going by saying, “In my dreams.” He explained that whenever a girl appears in his dreams, he gets so nervous that he wakes up before the wedding can happen, causing the audience to burst into laughter. Shah Rukh, laughing along, teased Salman about how many women want to marry him, yet even in his dreams, he’s too nervous to go through with it.
In a separate interview on “Aap Ki Adalat,” Salman shared his desire to become a father, although marriage isn’t his priority. He mentioned that he’d love to have children but is restricted by Indian law, adding humorously that while a mother is essential for children, his future wife would also be the mother of his children.
