Sam Bahadur to release on OTT Platform soon

Pune: The much-awaited film, Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, has made its way to the big screens.

Starring Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Sanya Malhotra in prominent roles, this movie has already created a buzz among the audience.

Vicky Kaushal brilliantly portrays the charismatic war hero Sam Manekshaw, showcasing the intricacies and bravery associated with the character. On the other hand, Fatima Sana Shaikh flawlessly embodies the persona of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, while Sanya Malhotra steps into the shoes of Silloo, Sam’s wife.

The highly anticipated film, Sam Bahadur, will soon be released on the popular OTT platform, Zee5, following its theatrical debut. However, the specific date for the OTT release has not yet been disclosed.

The film ‘Sam Bahadur’ is a war drama based on the biography of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie explores the life of this esteemed military leader in great detail. The script for the film was co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava, while Ronnie Screwvala produced it under the RSVP Movies banner.

The musical arrangement of the film is expertly crafted by Shankar-Ehsaan Loy, while the poetic brilliance of Gulzar shapes the lyrics. Adding to the immersive cinematic experience, the background score is skillfully created by Ketan Sodha.

On November 13, 2023, the first single, ‘Badhte Chalo’, was revealed, setting the musical ambiance for the audience.
