Coimbatore, December 1, 2025: Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised her fans on Monday by sharing photographs from her intimate wedding ceremony with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, held at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. The couple, who had refrained from commenting on their relationship despite recent buzz, made their union official through a series of heartfelt Instagram posts.
Samantha posted the images with the caption “01.12.2025” accompanied by white heart emojis, marking the date of their ceremony. The first picture captures Raj placing a ring on Samantha’s finger in front of the Linga Bhairavi shrine. Another image shows the couple embracing, with Samantha displaying her engagement ring.
The actor also uploaded glimpses of the traditional rituals, including moments of taking aarti and bowing before the deity. The final photograph shows the smiling bride and groom walking beneath an ornate floral archway.
For the ceremony, Raj opted for a white kurta paired with a beige Nehru jacket, while Samantha chose a classic red-and-gold saree adorned with fresh flowers—an ensemble that received admiration from fans across social media.
Soon after the post went live, congratulatory messages poured in from across the film industry. Actors Anupama Parameswaran, Nimrat Kaur, Dimple Hayathi and others extended their warm wishes to the newlywed couple.
Speculation about Samantha and Raj’s relationship surfaced in early 2024, though neither addressed the rumours publicly at the time. Their appearances together at events fuelled curiosity, especially as Raj had not announced any updates regarding his personal life and Samantha was moving forward after her 2021 divorce from Naga Chaitanya. Reports of the two living together were denied by Samantha’s team back then, but Monday’s announcement finally confirmed their relationship and new beginning.
