Savarkar Jayanti celebrated
On the occasion of Savarkar Jayanti, Me Savarkar and Swanand Charitable Trust had organised a community thread ceremony program. The event saw participation of 35 children who took part in the public thread ceremony which saw presence of actor Sharad Ponkshe, Singer Shaunak Abhisheki, Air Vice Chief Marshal Retd Bhushan Gokhale, Former MLA Medha Kulkarni, Dhananjay Barve, Ranjit Natu, Pravin Gokhale, Shailesh Kalkar, Ravindra Dhavalikar and Amey Kunte.
A procession was held in the evening from the hall till Mahadev temple near Mhatre Bridge after which the children proceeded after seeking blessings from Mohanbua Ramdasi.
