Savitribai Phule Pune University Opens Registration for Online and Remote MBA Program
Savitribai Phule Pune University to Celebrate National Science Day 2025 with Open Day Event
Pune: The School of Open and Distance Learning at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has introduced a postgraduate MBA program offered through online and remote learning modes. Registration for the online entrance exam for this program is now open, with January 24 as the deadline. The exact date of the entrance exam will be announced later.
According to Dr. Vaibhav Jadhav, Director of the School of Open and Distance Learning, this is the first time the university is offering an MBA program in these modes. Candidates can apply from across India, but the study centers will be located only in Pune, Nashik, and Ahilyanagar districts.
The entrance exam will be conducted online in a proctored format, allowing candidates to appear for the exam from home. The test will be objective, with multiple-choice questions, and will last for one hour. Separate merit lists will be prepared for online and remote learning programs.
Candidates selected through the entrance exam can choose either the online or remote learning mode, but changes to the selected mode will not be allowed after admission. For more details on the course and entrance exam, visit unipune.ac.in/sol/admission2024.html
Based on the program’s response, the university may conduct admission processes twice a year in the future.
