Schools in Maharashtra to open from January 24 for class 1-12

Schools in Maharashtra will reopen for all classes from next week, said Varsha Gaikwad, state minister for education for Maharashtra today in Mumbai. She said that schools will have to ensure Covid19 protocols are followed strictly.

Quoting about the reopening of the schools, she said, “The schools will reopen from January 24, 2022 for classes 1-12. We had submitted a proposal to the chief minister which he approved. The schools were closed in the mid January following surge in Covid19 cases.”

The schools will reopen depending on the number of cases in the local areas.
