On Saturday, 10th February 2024, three people died on the spot after a horrific car accident in Daulatabad, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, around 11:00 PM.

The accident occurred when a speeding car hit a truck from behind, causing the car to smash.

The names of the deceased who died in the car accident are Rahul Anand Nikam, Shivaji Vamanrao Thorat, and Anna Ramrao Malode. They were residents of Sambhaji Nagar and were traveling on the Samruddhi Mahamarg when this incident took place, killing all three of them.

When the car reached Daulatabad, the driver of the speeding car lost control and rammed into the truck in front of him. The severity of the accident was so great that the front end of the car was destroyed, causing the deaths of Rahul Anand Nikam, Shivaji Vamanrao Thorat, and Anna Ramrao Malode on the spot.

Additionally, on Friday, 9th February 2024, a day before this accident, another accident took place on the Samruddhi Mahamarg in Kopargaon Taluka of Nagar District.

The incident occurred between a Swift Desire car and a container around 11:30 PM. The container was parked on the Samruddhi Mahamarg in Kopargaon Taluka’s Dhotre Gram Panchayat area as its channel fell. While the container driver was picking up the channel, a car was speeding towards Shirdi from Jalanya. As the driver of the Swift Desire lost control, the car hit the container in front. Three people died in this incident, and two were severely injured. The names of the deceased are Rahul Rajbhoj, Umesh Ugle, and Bhausahej Paithane. All of them resided in Jafarabad district, Jalna. The two injured were immediately admitted to a hospital in Vijapur.

As the series of accidents continues on the Samruddhi Mahamarg, it has caused safety concerns among the public.
