The Pune Municipal Corporation celebrates its anniversary with the 42nd PMC Annual Fruits, Flowers, and Vegetables Competition and Exhibition at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden.

Opened by Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, the exhibition highlights the importance of trees and plants. It features 12 sections with 216 subdivisions, showcasing various competitions like decorative flower pot arrangements, herb collections, and more.

Visitors can enjoy different types of flowers and fruits, along with replicas of garden types. Prize distribution for winners will be held today. Participating institutions include Pune University, Metro, and others.

The exhibition also showcases bonsai and promotes tree conservation. Stalls selling gardening materials are open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, and entry is free, with direct access through the PMC CARE App available to avoid queues.
