Security guard assaulted in Pimpri Chinchwad over brief delay in opening gate - Pune pulse

Pune: In an incident reported in the Kharabwadi region of Pimpri Chinchwad, a security guard employed by a private security company was subjected to physical assault by three individuals.
The victim, identified as Amol Panzade (35), sustained injuries as a result of the incident and was subsequently admitted to a medical facility for treatment. As per a police complaint lodged with the Mahalunge Police Station, Panzade is employed as a security guard with Matoshree Security, a company based in Bhosari, and was stationed at a private company’s premises in Kharabwadi.
A security guard working at the residence of the company’s owner arrived at the site accompanied by two acquaintances and requested that the victim open the gate. Panzade was having dinner when he opened the gate after a brief delay, following which the accused allegedly hurled verbal abuse and brutally attacked him with a stick, rendering him unconscious.
He was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment. The security firm’s officials were notified of the incident, and an FIR was registered under the relevant sections at the Mahalunge Police Station. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vasant Babar, Senior Police Station, Mahalunge Police Station added, ”A thorough investigation is being carried out in this case, and an FIR has been registered under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.”
