Speaking about the protest, Mahadev Babar said, “Waste management has become a big issue in both Prabhag 26 as well as 27. There are heaps of garbage lying across these wards. The roads are filled with potholes, water and drainage pipeline laid on the main Kondhwa is not levelled, also the work is on at a slow pace. These have raised several health as well as traffic issues in the area. Today in our rally we have raised these issues only and brought the issues into the limelight further making the citizens aware on the competency of these elected representatives.”

Ex Corporator Tanaji Lonkar said, “Citizens are tired of living around such filthy roads. The entire ward is grappling for basic facilities. Be it waste management, roads, drainage chambers, streetlights, recreational facilities, everything needs attention from the representatives as well as PMC. Citizens should raise their voice against the injustice caused to them.”
