Covid19 has taught us the biggest lessons of life; shares DCP Namrata Patil
Covid19 pandemic has been the biggest teacher for people from all over the world. It hampered our day to day activities for over a year. Education was affected in a great way where everyone was taken on a roller coaster ride where every step was a new learning. Despite the odds many students shined with excellent grades.
Doctors, Police, government officials, journalists, health and sanitation workers, everyone played a great role in keeping us all informed and safe. Kausarbaugh Social Welfare Foundation recently held a program to felicitate the Covid19 warriors for their commendable contribution to the society. The Foundation announced one year scholarship to many deserving students from the neighborhood further supporting their education.
The programme was organised by Haji Abid Sayyed, Haji Tausif Shaikh at the City Lawns in Parge Nagar, Kondhwa. The scholarship was given through the profits earned from money which was received from the online sale during the Bakri Eid. More than 100 students were awarded with scholarship while many Covid19 warriors were felicitated at the hands of dignitaries.
The programme saw presence of Namrata Patil, deputy commissioner of police, Zone 5, Sardar Patil, senior Police inspector, Kondhwa police station, Chetan Tupe, MLA, Hadapsar constituency, Ex MLA Mahadev Babar, Prashant Jagtap, president, Nationalist Congress Party Pune, Nanda Lonkar, Local Corporator, Haji Gaffoor Pathan, Prasad Mahadev Babar, ex Corporator Ajay Bhosale, Raees Sundke, Haji Feroz Shaikh and many others.
Namrata Patil said, “It is indeed an honour to be a part of a program which will build a great future. By providing scholarships to children Kausarbaugh Social Welfare Foundation has laid a foundation for a strong future.” Abid Sayyed said, “I believe in giving back to the society. There is so much that we can do for people in need. I feel we have immense power in ourselves to empower someone. I thank God for his strength which he has blessed me with.”
