Shocking !!! Missing seat cushion on Pune Nagpur IndiGo flight leaves passenger shocked 

Travellers often face challenges like missing luggage, but Nagpur resident Sagarika Patnaik had an uncommon experience when she found half of her seat missing on a flight. Sagarika was on a business trip, flying with IndiGo from Pune to Nagpur (6E-6798) early on Sunday.

According to her husband, Subrat Patnaik, the airline had assigned Sagarika a window seat. However, upon reaching her seat, she found the cushion missing. Sagarika approached a cabin crew member with her concern, but they only asked her to check beneath the seat. Despite her efforts, she couldn’t locate the missing cushion.

As per the information added, Sagarika had to inform the crew again, causing inconvenience to other passengers. Eventually, a crew member brought a spare cushion to replace the missing one. This incident is unexpected from a reputable airline like IndiGo.

According to sources, the previous cushion was removed due to being dirty, and a spare cushion was provided to maintain the aircraft’s hygiene standards. In response to Subrat’s inquiry on X (formerly Twitter), the airline stated that seat cushions can sometimes become detached from their Velcro and can be repositioned with the assistance of their crew. They also assured Subrat that his feedback would be shared with the relevant team for review and that they aimed to provide better service in the future.

Subrat highlighted that during the preparation for take-off, a cleaning crew conducts a thorough check before passengers board the plane. He questioned why they did not notice the missing cushion. Even the cabin crew, who are the first to enter the aircraft, failed to spot the issue.
