Shocking News : Man Arrested for Repeatedly Sexually Assaulting Buffalo Calf in Chikhali

A 24-year-old man in the Chikhali area of Pune has been apprehended in connection with a deeply troubling case involving the repeated sexual assault of a buffalo calf, as reported by an official on Thursday.

The incident came to light when a local resident in Pune filed a First Information Report (FIR) alleging the recurrent sexual assault of his buffalo calf by an individual. These distressing incidents took place between August 18 and October 2 in the Jadhavwadi region of Chikali, Pune.

The matter was brought to attention when the owner of the calf discovered the animal with its legs tied and promptly sought medical assistance. The accused, identified as Ramkishan Chauhan (24, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh), currently resides in the Chikhali area of Pune district.

Dyaneshwar Katkar, Senior Police Inspector of Chikhali Police Station, stated, “He has been apprehended based on the evidence provided by locals, and an FIR has been registered against him under Section 377 (unnatural sex) and other pertinent provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals Act.”

In response to this disturbing incident, the family took preventive measures by installing CCTV cameras in the shelter and securing it from the outside. Despite these efforts, they noticed the shelter’s lights turned off once again. When they rushed to the scene, they found the calf in a distressed state.

Subsequent examination of the CCTV footage revealed a man engaging in sexual assault against the buffalo calf. The individual responsible for the act allegedly damaged and confiscated the CCTV equipment, but the recorded footage was already in possession of the family.
