Simply Wow! Maruti Suzuki Launches Baleno ‘Regal Edition’ in India
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Baleno Regal Edition, to the Indian market, marking another special edition release from the country’s largest car manufacturer. The Baleno is already one of Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling models, and this special edition, available across all variants, is designed to enhance the premium appeal of the popular hatchback.
This limited edition has been introduced just in time for the festive season, aiming to offer a more luxurious driving experience. According to Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India, the Baleno Regal Edition has been “carefully crafted to offer distinct styling with enhanced interior and exterior features.”
Exterior and Interior Upgrades
On the outside, the Baleno Regal Edition comes with several accessories that add to its premium appeal. These include a grille upper garnish, front and rear underbody spoilers, fog lamp garnish, back door garnish, body-side moulding, and door visors. Inside the cabin, there are additional features like new seat covers, an interior styling kit, window curtains, and all-weather 3D floor mats to enhance both comfort and style.
Special Packages Available
The accessories for the Baleno Regal Edition are available in four distinct packages—Alpha, Zeta, Delta, and Sigma. These packages can be added to any variant of the Baleno, including the CNG and automatic versions. Pricing for these optional extras varies, with the Alpha package costing ₹45,820, Zeta at ₹50,428, Delta at ₹49,990, and Sigma at ₹60,199.
Price Range
The pricing for the Baleno ranges from ₹6.60 lakh to ₹9.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition’s accessories are offered as optional add-ons, giving buyers the flexibility to enhance their vehicle as per their preferences.

Since its launch in 2015, the Baleno has become a favorite in the Indian market. Its competitive pricing and no-fuss driving characteristics have contributed to its success. Over the past nine years, 1.5 million units have been sold, and the model holds a 55% share in Nexa’s total sales volume. The hatchback’s premium design, spacious cabin, and enjoyable driving experience have kept it at the top of its segment, despite the increasing popularity of SUVs.
