Six Indian pilgrims killed in bus accident in Nepal

Pune: At least 6 Indian pilgrims have died in a road accident in Nepal’s Bara district. The accident happened on Thursday and has left 19 people injured.
According to the police, the bus, which was on its way from Kathmandu to Janakpur, was carrying Indian pilgrims when it overturned near Bara’s Churiamai. The bus tipped over and fell about 50 metres on the river bank at Simara sub-metropolitan city-22 along East-West Highway around 2 a.m. on Thursday.
The deceased were Indian nationals from Rajasthan State, the police identified, adding that a Nepali citizen was also killed in the accident. There were 27 passengers on the bus, including 2 drivers and 1 helper.
