In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Sonu opened up about his current relationship with Kangana.

Sonu Sood has expressed that he is currently not in communication with Kangana Ranaut, whom he describes as “not a bad person,” attributing the situation to her lack of judgment.

Sonu Sood was recently inquired about whether Kangana Ranaut had approached him for another film. He clarified that they have not had any communication since their collaboration on Manikarnika.

The well-known conflict between Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood has been ongoing for more than five years, tracing back to 2019. The discord initiated when Sonu unexpectedly departed from Kangana’s film, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. This event has significantly affected their relationship, with Sonu recently disclosing that they are currently not in communication.

“I left Manikarnika also because Kangana is my friend. We are not on talking terms right now, but I have been very close with her family – her mother, father, and sister meet me very lovingly. I have a rule in life that if I have ever been close to someone or friends with them, more or less, if I have a problem, I will never speak against them. People can say whatever they want, but I will never say anything against them. I might feel upset thinking, ‘This person was a good friend and said such things’. I feel that it’s her foolishness, she is not a bad person. But sometimes, when you write or say things, you don’t actually think it through. I might have also gone through this and done things out of being naive,” says Sonu.

He mentioned that a mutual friend attempted to arrange meetings between them on a few occasions, but those efforts were unsuccessful.

Sonu Sood made the decision to exit from Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Reports suggest that his departure was primarily due to his professional obligations related to Simmba, although there were also claims that his exit was influenced by disagreements with Kangana.
