The dispute of fees between the parents of students and the school administration of Euro School, Undri seems to be a big trouble for the school as the Maharashtra state education school board has initiated a stern action against the Euro School and it may lose its grant, as per the boards statement.

From last one week the parents and the school administration have been into an argument over hike in school fees. The heated argument turned sour when a female teacher at the school alleged that a parent abused her. This prompted the parent to approach the Maharashtra state education school board.

For the past two days, there has been a dispute between the parents and the school administration near the school’s entrance gate over school fees. Also on Monday last week a student was denied admission by the school after his parents protested and he was pushed away and manhandled by the security guards.

The same thing happened on Tuesday but parent were in shock when a female teacher at the school accused a parent of being pushing and manhandling her by them. The heated arguments between the two finally came to an end, after the police came and intervened.  Meanwhile, the role of unpaid fees by the parents who are allegedly denied admission to the school by Euro School is likely to be escalated leading to the conflicts.
Initially the school administration had denied the allegations against them over the fees.  The school management had clarified that the fees are being charged from the students as per the order of the government and only the students who have not paid the fees are being asked to get admission in other schools. It seems that the decision of the Deputy Director of Education order has been neglected by the private schools and have no fear of the education department, alleged a parent.

In this regard the school education department of Maharashtra state had issued notice to the school management to present before them as well as a show cause notice was issued to them but the school authorities failed to present their say.

Speaking to Pune Pulse Deputy Director of Education Audumbar Ukirde admitted the issue and said, “The concerned schools management has been directed that students should be enrolled back to school as well as giving them admission. However, it seems that many students were denied admission on Tuesday. This is violation of Right to Education Act section 12c. Based on which we will be setting up an inquiry against the school management and after eight days based on the report stringent action will be taken. “

The parents have high hopes from the Education board and law. They demand that the school management should be taught a lesson for such heinous approach.
Despite repeated attempts to contact Euro school they remained unavailable to comment on the issue.
