The offices handling registration of documents in Pune will be operational from March 29 to March 31. This includes Joint District Registrar Class-1 and Collector of Stamps, Pune City, as well as Joint Sub-Registrar Class-II Haveli No. Offices 1 to 27. Despite it being a government holiday period, these offices will cater to the public’s needs.

The rush for registration stems from the impending release of the annual market rate table on April 1st. To avoid last-minute hassles, parties are flocking to the Sub-Registrar’s office during March. This surge in activity is not only for deed registrations but also for tasks related to Maharashtra Stamp Duty, including the Abhay Yojana.

Santhosh Hingane, the Joint District Registrar Class-1 and Collector of Stamps for Pune City, emphasized that their office will be open for various functions, including assessment and Abhay Yojana.
This ensures that individuals can access necessary services without disruption.

As the deadline approaches, it’s crucial for parties involved in property transactions to take advantage of this window of opportunity. By registering deeds and fulfilling stamp duty obligations promptly, they can streamline the process and avoid potential delays or complications.

The proactive approach of keeping these offices open during the holiday period reflects a commitment to facilitating smooth transactions and ensuring public convenience.
