‘Swarangan’ – A national level singing and musical instruments playing competition to be held in Pune

Pune, May 4, 2023: Antarnaad Kala Academy is conducting ‘Swarangan’ – a national level singing and musical instruments playing competition, which is open to all participants aged above 12 years. The last date for registration is May 15. This was informed by Antarnaad Kala Academy’s founder-director Nilesh Pande.

“We are conducting a national-level singing and musical instruments playing competition. Total prizes worth Rs 4 lakh will be awarded to the winners along with certificates and trophies. The winners will get to perform with Grammy Awards winning singer Mahalaxmi Iyer at a live show,” Pande said.

The judges for the completion are Mahalaxmi Iyer, veteran Santoor player Pandit Satish Vyas, acclaimed Tabla player Padma Shri Pandit Vijay Ghate, well-known Sitar player Shakir Khan, among others.

There are two categories for the competition – 12 years – 18 years and 18 years and above and participants can sing in any genre or play any type of musical instruments.
