Taking your cycle through Pune Metro. Read this before you board Train.
PUNE: The citizens of Pune have been utilizing the metro facility, resulting in record-breaking ridership every weekend.
The commuters are provided with various amenities such as one plus cards, special discounts for students and senior citizens, among others.
As per the information provided, Pune Metro has allowed the transportation of bicycles on the metro. However, the Metro has implemented certain regulations for bicycle riders, as informed via X (previously Twitter).
In a tweet, Pune Metro tweeted, “A video was recently posted on Instagram depicting a young man traveling on the metro with a bicycle. Pune Metro would like to clarify that carrying bicycles on the metro is permitted, but it is prohibited for passengers to sit on bicycles while on board. Passengers must ensure that their bicycles do not obstruct other commuters.”
“Any cycling on the station or platform and any behavior that causes inconvenience to other passengers will be subject to action in accordance with Pune Metro regulations. Therefore, Pune Metro urges all passengers to refrain from such stunts and travel responsibly,” It further said.
