Gurucharan Singh, known for his role in the popular TV show “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma,” has been reported missing since April 22. Police sources revealed that the actor was operating over 10 bank accounts for financial transactions, despite not being in a stable financial condition.

The 50-year-old actor, who was expected to return to Mumbai after visiting his parents in Delhi, has not been heard from since his disappearance. Following the investigation by the Delhi Police, the Special Cell has initiated a simultaneous probe into the matter.

Investigators discovered that Singh was managing multiple financial accounts, despite his financial struggles. He was reportedly withdrawing cash through credit cards and using one card to pay dues of another. The last known transaction was a withdrawal of Rs 14,000 from an ATM.

During the initial investigation, friends and relatives mentioned that Singh had been expressing interest in spirituality and had even contemplated going to the mountains.

Scheduled to return to Mumbai on April 22, Singh allegedly misled the person who was supposed to receive him. His father, deeply distressed by his sudden disappearance, filed a complaint with the Delhi Police. Despite their efforts, Singh has not returned home or reached Mumbai, and his phone remains unreachable, causing immense concern for his family.

A shocking case of illegal waste dumping has come to light within the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits near Kamala Nehru Park in Shivajinagar. Ahead of the monsoon season, when civic authorities are expected to intensify the cleaning of drains and streams as per the directives of the Pune Municipal Commissioner, waste was allegedly found being dumped directly into a drainage channel.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of pre-monsoon desilting and cleaning operations. Instead of removing debris and ensuring smooth water flow to prevent flooding during heavy rains, the dumping of waste into the drain could obstruct water movement and increase the risk of waterlogging in the area.
