Prime Video has made an exciting announcement. On September 23, the streaming platform disclosed the release date for The Tribe, a new series produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The Tribe is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Aneesha Baig as the executive producers.

Karan Johar shared The Tribe’s poster on his Instagram Stories stating, “It is about to go down in La La Land. Watch The Tribe on Prime. New series on October 4. Young, unafraid, and chasing an epic dream, The Tribe are a group of Indian influencers who have been set up to crack global fame in…Los Angeles! Are they ambitious or asking for trouble?” says his post.

Directed by Omkar Potdar, The Tribe explores the journey of Indian influencers seeking global fame in Los Angeles.

This series offers an exclusive look into the opulent lives of five affluent Indian content creators as they leave their families behind and step out of their comfort zones to forge a new existence in Los Angeles.

A new poster has been unveiled, featuring the cast, which includes Alaviaa Jaaferi, Alfia Jafry, Srushti Porey, Aryaana Gandhi, Alanna Panday, and Hardik Zaveri.

Here’s a closer look at some of the cast members:

Alanna Panday has built a substantial Instagram following of over 1.5 million with her captivating lifestyle posts. Notably, she is the cousin of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday.

Alaviaa Jaaferi, daughter of actor and comedian Javed Jaffrey, has also gained a considerable following on Instagram, where her feed highlights her flair for beauty and fashion, showcasing a variety of styles and products.

Aryaana Gandhi, a musician from India, relocated from Mumbai to Los Angeles in 2019. Inspired by the music of the Beatles and Eagles, she began playing the piano at the age of eight. With a talent for various genres, including classic rock, dubstep, and country, she ultimately found her true calling in R&B.

Alfia, the daughter of Indian director Rumi Jaffery, made headlines in 2021 when she married businessman Amir Mohammad Haq, further establishing her presence in the entertainment industry.
