Rupali Ganguly recently took a scooter ride in Mumbai after attending an event. To save time, she decided to ride with her manager. However, some people were not happy when they saw that the Anupamaa actress was riding without a helmet. Many users called on the Mumbai police to take action against her for violating traffic regulations.

Rupali Ganguly faced backlash for this incident. She was returning home after the Star Parivaar Awards 2024, where she received two honors: Best Patni and Best Bahu for her role in Anupamaa. Despite being involved in a political party, she was criticized for not adhering to traffic laws by riding on the back of a scooter without a helmet.

One user remarked, “Is the helmet fine only for poor and non-famous people?” Another user suggested, “RTO Mumbai, please issue a fine for riding without a helmet (with laughing emojis).” A different user asked, “What’s the location? Should we inform the Mumbai police?”

“Rules only apply to common people?”

One user expressed, “It’s true that celebrities can ride without helmets… they passed right in front of the police. If it were an ordinary person, they would get fined heavily.” Another user added, “Without a helmet too! I thought Anupamaa was perfect, and everyone wanted to emulate her… what a bad role model (laughing emoji).”
