Three railway gates to be closed on Pune-Satara railway route due to repair work

Pune: On September 15, 16 and 17, three railway gates on the Pune-Satara railway line will be closed for repair works.

As per information from the railway administration, repair works will be carried out on the 34th gate between Nira-Lonand railway station, the 33rd gate between Nira-Lonand railway station, and the 27th railway gate between Valha-Nira railway station.

Apart from the railway line closure, the following roads will also be closed for traffic:

• The road will be closed for traffic from 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, September 15 due to work related to the doubling of the 34th railway track between Nira-Lonand railway station on the Pune-Satara railway line.

• Meanwhile, Nira-Lonand railway station on Pune-Satara railway line will be closed due to the 33rd railway track doubling works on Friday, September 15 from 8 am till 8 am on September 18.

• Valha-Nira railway station on Pune-Satara railway line will remain closed for road traffic from 7 am to 7 pm from September 16 to September 17 due to the 27th railway gate repair works.
